Lenin was shot in 1921 and he never fully recovered. He died in January 1924.
There was then a struggle for power between Stalin and Trotsky which lasted for three years.
The debate was "Guns or Butter" which meant Heavy Industry or Consumer Goods.
Stalin is the one who becomes successful in this debate.
He then expels Trotsky from the Soviet Union. Who he would later put on trial in abstentia for treason.
Trotsky was then hunted down and assasinated in 1940 in Mexico City.
With his new power Stalin follows the Slogan "Socialism in one Country"
